Hello!

Rowena Aitken, the creative maestro who's been spinning magic as a freelance illustrator since 2009, is not your average artist – she's a storytelling wizard! A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone, University of Dundee, in Animation and Electronic Media, Rowena has sprinkled her creative sparkle on much-loved children's books like "Ruan The Little Red Squirrel" (2016), "The Kilted Coo" (2017), and even the cheeky collaboration with Elisa Peacock on "The Bum That Barked" (2020).

But the adventure doesn't stop there! Rowena is currently brewing up mischief with educational illustrations, diving into the Irish language specialism, and conjuring the visual magic for Ren Cummins' debut children's book, "Princess Peanut, Be Polite" (expected to drop in the epic Q1 of 2024).

Nestled in the enchanting city of Edinburgh, Scotland, with her partner and cat, Rowena's commitment to her craft, love for nature, and dedication to storytelling have turned her into a rockstar in the illustration community – A total boss with a hint of creative spark and a dash of awesome!
